THE
ACTION PROGRAM
In this context, the
WFDFI will concentrate basically on supporting the regional
associations and, with their backing, on activating and expanding
its membership, in this way helping them to better serve their own
national members.
Just as the regional associations maintain a two-way relationship
with their member institutions, the WFDFI will propose issues to be
explored, activities and services to the associations in response to
their expressed needs, reflecting those of their affiliated
institutions. In this way, the Federation will seek to reach, using
its own voice and representative authority, the pertinent national
and international organizations that are known to play a part in
defining policies concerning financing and the development banks.
In this context, the WFDFI will, by taking up aspects of previous
proposals and formulating new ones, according to the resources that
are available to it, develop a series of programs, projects,
activities and services, such as the following.
