AND BUDGET
The
membership fees and contributions of WFDFI Members (Regional
Associations and Special Members) are essential to serve as seed
capital for not only financing the activities of the Action Program,
but also raising (leveraging) resources from possible cooperation
sources, thereby revealing the commitment of those associations to
the Federation. Without counterpart funds, it has no longer been
possible to obtain donations or generate resources through the sale
of services.
In this context, fees are going to be charged again in 2005 to the
Regional Associations (US$ 5,000 each), since no collection at all
was done in 2003 and 2004. Their timely payment will generate the
urgently needed income budget for the WFDFI.
Subsequently, the World Federation will, on the basis of these fees
and contributions and the recognition of the situation described
above, seek to obtain national and international cooperation to
carry out this Action Program and shore up the institution.
